Abstract:
Physical activity is one of the most important preconditions for a healthy life and is an integral part of all people’s lives. Physical activity is defined as every body movement derived from the activation of the skeletal muscles which results in energy consumption (1).
It is of particular importance to people with disabilities since it helps preserve the quality of life as much as possible. But not only that, with physical activity or teamwork in some sports, they can gain positive psychological aspects in their life. The goal of the research was to gain insight into the physical activity of students with disabilities at the University of Rijeka based on the collected data. The data was collected by completing a survey. Twenty participants aged nineteen to twenty-six participated in it. Of those, 55 percent were male and 45 percent female. They studied their lifestyle, sport, or any other form of physical activity, how much they practiced and were active in childhood, how much they are now, and how they are satisfied with their health in general.
