Abstract:
The book Functional Atlas of the Human Fascial System presents the anatomy of the human body from a completely unique perspective. Physiotherapy as a profession has, until recently, primarily viewed the locomotor system from a mechanical standpoint, explaining various types and distributions of pain based on the anatomy and physiology of the nervous system. However, many patient conditions and clinical presentations of more complex syndromes cannot be explained by the traditional understanding of anatomy and physiology. This book opens new horizons in understanding the anatomy and function of the human body, offering insights into many previously unexplained clinical conditions and the distribution of chronic and acute pain.
