Abstract:
Dear readers, it is my great honor to present the first issue of the journal “World of Health,” whose launch encourages the publication and exchange of knowledge as well as the recognition of the importance and active promotion of scientific development in the field of health professions. The role of the journal is to publish original scientific research papers as well as methodological scientific and professional papers subject to peer review. I want to emphasize that the journal is interdisciplinary to stimulate science in all health professions (nursing, midwifery, physiotherapy, and radiological technology). Its interdisciplinarity is also reflected in the composition of the editorial board and reviewers—esteemed domestic and foreign experts from the health field. The Faculty of Health Studies, as the first higher education institution of this type, aims not only at educating health professionals but also at initiating scientific thought. Considering that regulated professions are educated at the faculty, of which nursing is regulated also as a scientific discipline, our desire is to contribute to the development of the profession in this field. Furthermore, the role of the journal is to increase the production and quality of health workers and students by enabling the publication of their research. We expect the published papers to support not only the educational process but also the monitoring of research and professional achievements in health sciences. I thank all members of the editorial board who helped launch the journal with their work and enthusiasm, and special thanks go to the authors who expressed their trust in the journal with their papers and enabled its creation.
