Abstract:
Dear readers,
Before you is the second issue of the Faculty of Health Studies, University of Rijeka, journal, “World of Health.”
This issue represents a qualitative leap compared to the first issue as we publish interesting and valuable articles by our eminent experts, faculty, and students, which especially pleases us. We are confident that the quality of published papers will continue to grow in all upcoming issues. Our mission is to promote scientific knowledge as well as the expertise of healthcare professionals.
Our role is to encourage knowledge exchange and facilitate the flow of professional and scientific information in interdisciplinary fields through the publication of original scientific and professional papers. Today, healthcare professionals are recognized not only as practitioners but also as scientists and educators. Therefore, we wish to provide healthcare professionals and other health-related experts a platform to present their achievements and expertise for the benefit of all participants involved in patient care, as well as colleagues whose task is to preserve, improve, and promote health.
Finally, a message to our readers and future authors: A jet cannot mow the lawn, but it can fly to distant destinations. Don’t worry too much about what you cannot do; simply do what you can, the way only you can (Dan Millman).
