Abstract:
Dear readers,
It is my pleasure to present the new issue of the scientific-professional journal World of Health.
Through this journal, we aim to encourage scientific thinking in health professions, while also emphasizing the importance of expertise. Therefore, in this issue, we publish research and professional papers that have undergone a rigorous peer-review process.
Although we are still under the constraints imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic, this issue includes 11 papers from various scientific fields related to health topics, continuing to highlight the importance of interdisciplinarity in exploring health issues. I would especially like to thank Prof. Dr. Zlatan Car from the Faculty of Engineering, University of Rijeka, who motivated his team of students to publish two excellent papers in this issue that successfully connect the use of new technologies in technical sciences with healthcare activities. I am proud that our students from all health fields we educate at the Faculty of Health Studies, University of Rijeka, appear as authors of quality and interesting research papers, demonstrating the development of their scientific awareness.
I thank all editorial board members (in this issue, we have expanded our team to include several outstanding colleagues from Portugal, Slovenia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina), who, with their dedication and enthusiasm, enable the regular publication of the journal. I also thank the great team from Pharmamed Mado d.o.o., who provide us with both substantial and visual quality for this journal. The greatest thanks, however, go to the authors who have shown trust in World of Health by submitting their work.
