    Abstract:

    Dear readers,
Before you is the new, now fifth issue of the scientific-professional journal World of Health.
Over these five years, the journal has developed and grown, and our editorial team has significantly expanded.
The journal now has two chief editors, Prof. Daniela Malnar, PhD, and Associate Prof. Ksenija Baždarić, PhD, as well as five executive editors: Assistant Prof. Sandra Bošković, PhD, Assistant Prof. Andrica Lekić, PhD, Prof. Gordana Starčević Klasan, PhD, Assistant Prof. Mirela Vučković, PhD, and Kristijan Zulle.
The international editorial board counts 15 members from four countries.
In this issue, we publish 14 contributions, including 11 scientific papers from various fields of biomedicine and health care. Considering the past two years and the pandemic, this issue includes four papers on COVID-19: two original scientific papers on respiratory rehabilitation of COVID-19 patients and the prevalence of anxiety disorders before and during the pandemic, a review article on the lives of elderly people in nursing homes during the pandemic, and a case report on the rehabilitation of a patient with severe ARDS. Our other scientific papers also address current health topics: the impact of incontinence on sexual function in older women, resveratrol — scientific evidence on its health effects, ultrasound-guided peripheral venous access, comparison of the prevalence of eating disorder symptoms among Croatian and Slovenian students, prevention of obesity in preschool children, and analysis of the number of bachelor’s and master’s theses of Faculty of Health Studies Rijeka students in the institutional repository Dabar.
This issue also contains a professional article on measuring thoracic spine range of motion, a book review of Functional Atlas of the Human Fascial System, and an overview of seven scientific symposia held at the Faculty of Health Studies in 2022.
I thank all the authors, editorial staff, and editorial board members who, with their dedicated work and enthusiasm, enable the regular publication of the journal.

“Science is not and will never be a finished book. Every great achievement brings new questions. Every development over time reveals ever newer and deeper difficulties.”
