Abstract:
Dear Readers,
We are pleased to present to you the sixth issue of the World of Health journal.
In this edition, we feature 12 contributions, including 8 original scientific papers from various fields of biomedicine and healthcare, one review paper, one case report, and two other articles. The original research papers bring us new insights from nursing, physiotherapy, midwifery, and public health. The review article focuses on radiologic technology, while the case report comes from the field of family medicine. We also bring you news from the Faculty of Health Studies for the year 2023.
Sadly, we bid farewell to the prematurely departed Professor Alan Šuštic, the first Dean of the Faculty of Health Studies in Rijeka (in memoriam by Prof. Amir Muzur).
The journal now has its own website: https://fzsri.uniri.hr/o-fakultetu/izdavacka-djelatnost/world-of-health/, where you can find all relevant information about the publication. This year, we have modernized the manuscript submission process — submissions are now handled via the OJS system (Hrčak): https://hrcak.srce.hr/ojs/index.php/woh/index. We have also made some changes to our peer-review policy: professional papers are now subject to review, and we have updated the author guidelines.
We thank all authors, editorial board members, and the editorial committee for their dedicated work and enthusiasm, which make the regular publication of this journal possible.
