Abstract:
Today, more than ever, various portals, magazines, and other media talk and write about respiration, breathing, and lung diseases due to the novel coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19), which has attracted a lot of public attention. With the outbreak of the pandemic caused by the COVID-19 virus, it has become truly necessary to discuss and take lung health and disease, as well as our personal responsibility for them, more seriously. Breathing exercises have already been recognized through various activities as an essential factor in maintaining health. Regarding lung diseases, people with lung problems have the most extensive knowledge. Today, breathing and respiratory hygiene are no longer seen as recreational activities but as therapeutic methods for preventing disease onset. To be better prepared for future health challenges, this text aims to highlight the importance of respiratory health for both the sick and the healthy.
